- In the event of a rear collision, front active headrests in the front seats use the occupant’s rearward motion to automatically move the headrest forward to help prevent whiplash
- Energy-absorbing steering column reduces the chance of driver injury in certain front end collisions
- Side-impact door beams provide additional occupant protection in the event of a side collision
- Three-point seat belts in all 5 seating positions ensure all occupants are effectively restrained
- Height-adjustable seat belt anchors assure a comfortable belt setting for any size front seat occupant
- To provide added protection in certain front collisions, front seat belt pretensioners cinch the belt to stop forward motion then the force limiters slowly release the tension to help prevent injury from the seat belt
