ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC) PACKAGE
Amanti's outstanding ride and handling can be further enhanced with the safety, confidence and control of the available Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Package, which includes:
- Electronic Stability Control - Enhances driver control by "reading" the traction of the wheels while cornering and helping control oversteer or understeer by modulating engine power and selectively applying individual brakes, even if the brakes are not applied by the driver
- Traction Control - Works in conjunction with ABS and Electronic Stability Control to help prevent the drive wheels from spinning while accelerating under slippery conditions
- Brake Assist - Helps reduce stopping distances during hard braking by sensing emergency stops and engaging the ABS
